MR OROCK JOHN TAMBE was born in Nitimbi on 16/6/42 in Bachuo Akagbe village in Upper Bayang sub division. He attended Saint Peter Catholic school in Okoyong village in Manyu Division where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He then joined the police force in 1960 and was retired on the 31/12/1992. In 2004 he came to the United States to visit his children. A couple of years later he was diagnosed with kidney failure. He started receiving dialysis. In June 2012 he was diagnosed with liver cancer that had metastasized. He died on 11/2/2012 at Washington Hospital Center. He leaves behind a wife, nine children, many grand children, two sisters and other family members to mourn him

The viewing has been scheduled for Saturday, December 15th 2012, in Maryland, at the Jenkins Funeral Home, followed by a Wake Keeping at The Oxford Center on 9700 Martin Luther King Jr. Hwy, Lanham, Maryland.
