Hello,
Thank you for taking my call this afternoon. As I had mentioned, I work on the Emergency Partners Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We work with federal, tribal, state, and local partners to provide valuable information to help people keep themselves and their families safe during public health emergencies.
Throughout the United States and worldwide, people are concerned about the devastating effects Zika virus disease (Zika) can cause. Learning more about how to prevent the spread of Zika will help communities work together to protect pregnant women from Zika.
In an effort to meet the information needs of all US residents, including those for whom English is not their first language, CDC has developed fact sheets in multiple languages. We invite you to visit our website print materials and to share them with members, associates, and other organizations. We would like to call your attention to the following 5 brochures in Chinese:
· For pregnant women in areas with Zika: Protect your pregnancy: English, Chinese
· Mosquito Bite Prevention for the United States: English, Chinese
· Help control mosquitoes that spread dengue, chikungunya, and Zika: English, Chinese
· Pregnant? Protect yourself from mosquito bites: English, Chinese
· Pregnant and living in an area with Zika?: English, Chinese
If you have additional suggestions for how to share this information, we would love to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Nebu Kolenchery
