Hello, Mei-ling,

I believe you have made a wise decision. I would do the same if I were you when my children were small. There will be others staying for the first grade besides Olivia and Mariyah.

The tuition is $5750 if you pay in full by 5/30. Lunch is $600 per year.

I am sure that we must have done a much better job, otherwise why would anyone spending more than 90 minutes every day, beating the traffic, paying the toll, driving from Staten Island Ferry to attend our school.

Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Yes, Olivia Huang will stay with Ms. Rochelle for another year. She has learned so much from her and Ms. Ginnie (not sure how to spell her name). Mariyah is also staying for another year too. Her mom had the baby girl yesterday. No sure if she will be able to reply your email. I wish there will be more students staying, not just two of them. By the way, what is the total for Olivia’s tuition including meals for next year if I pay by 5/30? Thanks!

Subject: After Kindergarten

Dear parents:

Some parents came to me and asked if their children can stay for the first grade after graduating from kindergarten.

The answer is yes.

I am sure that we can do a better job than many other schools, public or private. But we can not do it for free yet.

Please drop me a line if your child is going to stay after the kindergarten, so that I can plan ahead.  Thanks.

The tuition of $5750 for K to 5th grade does not cover the summer.

It only covers the school year from the day after the Labor Day to the second Friday of June.

Summer camp is available on a weekly basis.

Dear Jimmy:

How many months does the $5,750 and $600 cover (that is, including the summer?)?

Sincerely,

Huck Qavanaugh
