Job Description for Business Analyst:
· Gathering and analyzing data. Producing business case and project initiation documents. Arranging meetings with business specialists and IT to ensure the requirements are accurately gathered and complete.
· Preparing Business requirement documentation. Documenting thoroughly all the business and functional requirements including current and future state process diagrams.
· Identifying risks and their mitigation and communicating to the project manager and stakeholders. Identifying and co-ordinate any training requirements resulting from process changes.
· Coordinating with the testing team for review of test strategy and test plan Coordinating with the testing team to ensure SIT and UAT is successfully completed and on time.
· Organize conference calls and interact with IT counterparts and other Global stakeholders and raising any IT problems with the relevant peer groups in IT.
· Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and releases. Work closely with other internal teams on upcoming projects, assignments and initiatives.
· Extensive interaction with IT, Operations and Business. Provide support during Implementation and Production roll-out.
· Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned tasks.
· 4-8 years of experience in Business Analysis within Investment Banking domain. Prior experience on handling Derivative products is desirable
· Strong analytical skills, ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders where required..
· A mature and self-motivated individual, enthusiastic and one who works with minimum supervision.
· Excellent communicator, being able to articulate and communicate with peers and senior management within and outside the organization.
· Ability to work towards tight deadlines along with being able to multi-task. Proven Team player who “goes the extra mile” in striving to provide quality service and customer satisfaction.
· A lateral thinker who can explore concepts outside of current work flows and environments in search of improvements and solutions. Should be proactive and must have a ‘can do’ attitude. Some understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques.
· Exposure to global client and understanding of global work culture. Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment.
· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Innovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvements.
