Water Logging in Elita Garden Vista

Hi All,

I would like to share the latest images of our prestigious so called "good quality" apartment which persuaded many of us to consider it as sweet home. However, the images which I am sharing will highlight the ground realities. There is a gross mismanagement embellished upon the inadequate planning and thought process for the structural design of the complex.

The situation is that entrances of all towers faces significant water logging even after a rainfall of 10 mins. Water logging consequently discourage maintenance guys to start generators if there is no power supply which often has been observed during rainy season. Maintenance guys claim that water logging in the complex submerges electrical panels in the electrical control rooms in the complex and they try to avoid switching on the genset to avoid electrical faults.

I have also uploaded the current status of swimming pool which looks like it would take another 6 months to complete. Although, its deficiency is fulfilled by the swimming pools at your door in the form of water logging.

Since, there are a few occupied apartments as of now, the local cows and their families feel so bad about the occupants and they come forward to accompany us on the podium and gardens on the ground.

Hi All,

Regarding this issue we had talked earlier (1 month ago) with the management/customer focus unit and they informed that they were in process of arranging pumps to pump out water. Temporarily they are using small irrigation pumps for the same. Any how, the fact of the matter is that they have planned to install pumps to pump out water without fixing the root cause.

The problem is primarily slope (surface as well as sewerage). The slope in the complex is like a shallow dish which makes the inner area of the apartment to be at lower level than outer area.

I would suggest to gather at the complex (elita garden vista) on a designated date (preferably in weekends) and raise the issue with the management. At least people who are in Kolkata can manage.

Additionally, for the mean time every one should ask about the measures being taken by the management to overcome this issue.

Thanks Barun for sharing the pics & its extremely sad to see such a improper work done by the builder.

Can anyone tell me the maintenance amount deduction is effective which date as they committed while doing the registration that it will start deducting post the swimming pool is ready.

I am in the US hence will not will be able to participate in the meetings.

    Hi all, 

           It is very unexpected that  we all the resident are facing such difficulties in the complex. Walking down till parking lot has become very disgusting as crossing the water logged area is highly unhygienic.

           If you ask the maintenance people, every time they say the water pump is working, still it takes more than 10 to 24 hours to clear the water. sometime even 2 to 3 days even. I really dont know what king of a pump is this and how does it work.
