Dear Mr. Puri / All,

On the topic of speed-brakes, I would suggest, rather than arriving at a quick decision whether "To implement" or "Not to implement", let us discuss within our committee representatives and then we will provide you with a formal communication assessing practical risk.

Someone might think, having speed brake within a complex is shameful, but I strongly  differ in opinion, since - the Cars are not driven only by the esteemed owners, but there are lot of  cars which are chauffeur driven, taxis, Olas and even delivery trucks that enter the complex.

Road signs are theoretical and can be abide by the residents ( hopefully), but a more practical solution to enforce speed regulation among chauffeurs, taxis drivers etc. has to be through implementation of speed breaks. Thoughts?

Best Regards
Rup

Dear Friends,

I certainly agree with Mr. Rup. I hope none of our residents is driving at high speed inside. It must be the outsiders. Hence it must be discussed in multiples perspectives in the committee and the needful to be done which is best for our community safety. If outsiders can not be controlled in this regard, then probably speed-brakers would be necessary. Only question would be how many and at which locations / at what distance interval.

Its surprizing to note that, where we have 5 blocks on the left side and 3 blocks on the right side, having security posted at each Block's entrance gate within few meters, still outsiders do dare to speed up and the security personnel can not regulate them. An implementable solution must be worked out.

Best wishes.

Dear All
Pl appreciate that speed breakers are not the "Problems" but a possible solution. So what's the problem- our ability to abide by the rules, signages just being reminders.
Pl look at it with new perspective.
Cheers!

Dear All ,
This is a generic issue for all.
Please restrict yourself to send emails directly to the builder / project representative. You can share your thoughts to the core team. Core team will put this up to find solution for mass interest.

Thanks,
Amik
