Rates of Services

Hi All,

Every society in which I had stayed had a standard rate set for all the services availed by the society :-

1) House Maid

2) Cook

3) Car Cleaner etc

We are paying monthly maintenance and still the workers for plumbing , electrician expect to pay them for installing and repairing of item which have got damaged due to daily wear and tear. Not sure why do we pay for the salaries for the electricians and plumbers. 

Recently, I got the false ceiling done in my flat , I had to extend the water sprinkler hose in my three rooms. The total cost of attaching the extension should not be more than couple of hundred rupees however the fire administration guy by the name of Mr Dey charged me around Rs 5000. 

It will be great if the committee can work towards setting a standard to the cost of services availed .
