Hi Penn Grad and Professional Students!
I want to provide some clarification on some of the important dates and deadlines for the ELISS Fellowship, as last minute changes on our end created some conflicting messages (rude).
May 7th: Pre-application officially opens - YOU MUST FILL THIS OUT TO RECEIVE THE FULL APPLICATION
June 14th, 11:59pm EST: Pre-application closes
Week of June 17th: Eligible applicants receive link to complete full application
July 15th, 11:59pm EST: Full application closes - YOU MUST HAVE ALL ASPECTS COMPLETE - Make sure your referees have sent in their completed forms and letters!!
August 16th: Semi-finalists announced (10-12 students)
August 23rd, 11:59pm EST: Semi-finalist writing sample (complex social issue) due
September 6th: Adviser approval (signed form) due for all semi-finalists (otherwise ineligible to continue)
September 9th-20th: On-campus (Penn) in-person interviews
October 11th: Finalists announced (4-5 students)
