ELISS is proud to announce the pilot class of 2014 fellows! We
chose fellows through a rigorous screening process (<15% acceptance rate)
involving written applications and in-person interviews. With the assistance of countless volunteer
application readers and on-campus interview panels, we identified four
finalists from each partner university who bring the experience and enthusiasm
to help build a successful, sustainable ELISS program.
The 2014 Fellows are working towards degrees across multiple disciplines and all have quite impressive and diverse experience outside of their degree programs, as well! We welcome the following sixteen fellows of our pilot class:

· Afroz Algiers, Sustainable Design and Construction
· Urusa Alaan, Materials Science and Engineering
· Allison Rhines, Biology
· AbdulRasheed Alabi, Molecular and Cellular Physiology
University of Washington:
