Doubled notes in LensGalley

Hello, everyone!!

Our journal uses the Lens Galley to display articles, however, our markup and web development teams have found that some of the articles double the footnotes when they see the XML Jats on the viewer. I uploaded some screenshots we took of what happens.

Does anybody know why this happens? Is there a solution?

We already asked in the PKP forum and someone told us that the problem seemed to be the viewer and not the markup. They suggested trying this: https://github.com/withanage/lensGalleyBits . However, it's still not working.

Does anybody have an idea of what's happening?
