I'd like to make a quick announcement to the list, today is a great day for Lens, it's being rolled out onto a number of journal thanks to the involvement of Highwire.

Thanks goes to highwire, Oliver and Michael.

Some of the journals that have started featuring lens include

Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy http://aac.highwire.org
The journal of biological chemistry http://www.jbc.org

Most of these require a subscription, however another journal mBio is an open access journal and you can see the link to the lens view of a recent article here: http://mbio.asm.org/content/5/5/e02062-14 and the actual lens view for that article here: http://mbio.asm.org/lens/mbio/5/5/e02062-14

Other journals hosted on highwire will be following suit in a tests phase.

This has involved some hardening of the lens codebase, and extending it's functionality a bit.

eLife is also continuing to invest in the ongoing development of Lens, and we have a short tutorial in the pipeline that should help to make it easier for new developers to get their teeth into contributing to lens.
