A: Supplemental information is all tagged in the XML. We try to make as many types first class citizens as possible, for example videos. All of the associated assets for an article can then be viewed on the figures and data tab of an article -- [Complementary mechanisms create direction selectivity in the fly | eLife](https://elifesciences.org/content/5/e17421/article-data). All of these things need to be named appropriate on submission into the system. The file naming conventions are documented here: [elife-continuum-documentation/file-naming at master · elifesciences/elife-continuum-documentation · GitHub](https://github.com/elifesciences/elife-continuum-documentation/tree/master/file-naming).
