No choir Practice tonight

John is ill so we are cancelling tonight.   We will be in robes.  We are singing Let us be Bread from fws

Folks, 

I will not be here on Sunday, so I am not going to attend practice tonight.  I have so much to do before we leave town on Friday.  I don't know what we will be singing, but maybe you guys can come up with something tonight (Men's Chorus, Alto duet, who knows??).  

As for next week, we can cancel since it is Spring Break.  I will plan on singing my solo "I Shall Not Want" on Sunday March 19th and then we can decide what to sing after that.

Choir,

Thank you for rescuing my and my voice last Sunday.  I promise someday I will sing that solo.  But last Sunday was not the day.  

We need to pick our music for the next few weeks.  With Easter coming, I thought it would be nice to do another A Capella piece.  We also need to select music for Palm Sunday and Easter.

We will be rehearsing our Palm Sunday Music:

Procession of Praise by Joseph Martin.

For Easter, we will be singing Christ is Risen by Joseph Martin.  Also, Judy mentioned it might be nice to have handbells on Easter Sunday play a simple Easter hymn.  We will likely only need 4-6 ringers, so if you are willing to ring.  Please let me know tonight.  We are going to work on this as well.
