Brothers I wanted you to get a copy of this email communication I sent out to the IMDP Management Team.  They are the group that will be responsible for implementing the Fall IMDP but they will reach out to the various chapters for the presentations/committees.  The process will be as good as your chapters COLLECTIVE preparation & participation consistently from beginning through conclusion.  I.e. "the victory will be in the preparation"  and the execution falls into place based on our level of preparation.   So share with your chapters.  Get the word out. 

To the Memphis Management Team,

Good Morning I hope and trust all is well.  I met with City Chapter Deans yesterday and that meeting was open to all of Kappa Eta Chapter as well.  We reviewed the IMDP Management Team responsibilities, its make up and specifically established that the Dean is your chapter's expert (answers questions chapter related, reports on IMDP at your meetings and has a very valuable role throughout this process).  He will work with and have a solid relationship with your president.  We also reviewed the Pre Planning Timeline which begins 6 weeks in advance of week 1 of IMDP.  To that end, we will have our 1st IMDP Mgmt Team Pre Planning Meeting on day during the week of August 25th to 31st.  We will then meet weekly or conference call/go to meetings for reports (updates on the plan and feedback on accomplishments) to the group.  Memphis Leadership selected October 11th to be weekend 1 of IMDP and concludes October 26th with initiation.  I have communicated the timeline to candidates so they may adjust their schedules.

Lastly Brothers, this year (our 5th IMDP) I expect us to be better.  I'll manage the process, make sure we stay between the guidelines and look to develop/grow our neophyte brothers or those who may have been away from this aspect of Alpha for some time.  The execution, follow through, leg work will be done by chapters, sponsors and collectively as a city.  We will be prepared to the highest degree and that will serve a ripple effect when we train the candidates/Sphinxmen/Probates throughout the process.  I look forward to working with you this Fall.  06
