Ok - so here is the Quick Fixes in order of easyness [is that a word?]...
1. Avoid using Google Chrome
2. Avoid using Internet Explorer & FireFox
3. SWITCH to VIVALDI BROWSER https://Vivaldi.com
4. You need a newer Mac OS than Mavericks [though some old SIERRA OS Macs may work]

Vivaldi works on all devices and includes a free VPN for anonymous web surfing and it BLOCKS ADS.

Just switching to Vivaldi will solve 99.9% of streaming problems.
