Guys,

I am trying to figure out how the EDB client behaves when a get request is issued during domain update? It seems an exception will be thrown... Does it imply that the client code has to monitor EDB state with client.isUpdating()  (or client.isFullyLoaded()) before each get request?

Thanks for your help!

An update is "hot swap", when a new version of a domain is detected in DFS, each node in the cluster downloads the shards it is responsible for and then hot swaps the new shards for the old ones.

Requests will continue to be serviced during this process.
