Dear all,

I am in the middle of converting the fenics-web source code:
https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/fenics-web
into a nice website for Elemental. While the website isn't anywhere near finished, its current state can be seen here:
http://libelemental.org

I would like to add a blurb and photo for each person who has contributed to the project. In order to make this easier and fairer, I am requesting that everyone who has contributed sends me their preferred photo and paragraph.

Best Regards,
Jack

FYI, the contributors page will reside here (with names in alphabetical order):
http://libelemental.org/about/team.html

Now that it's up, I'm noticing that the mugshots need to be of a certain aspect ratio.

Since no one except for Jeff has sent me their photo/blurb, I went ahead and put together the list of active contributors.
http://libelemental.org/about/team.html

Please email me if you would like to be added or removed from this list.

The list has now been significantly improved, as I had originally left out several important contributions (no one has been bold enough to explicitly asked to be on the list, so I have written the blurbs and collected/cropped most of the photos):
http://www.libelemental.org/about/team.html

Notable additions include: Miles Lubin, Dag Sverre Seljebotn, Andy Terrel, Hong Zhang, and Xuan Zhou.

I apologize if any of you were offended by not being included earlier. It is now much easier to publicly keep track of contributions, as previously this was done through the AUTHORS file, which has implications to copyright and is therefore somewhat stricter, as it necessarily does not include a large class of contributions.

Dictator has negative connotations, how about despot :)

Jack,

It is The University of Texas at Austin, not the University of Texas at Austin, and I would have the "The" part of any highlighted text when you highlight the rest of it...

Other than that, great job.  I'll see if we can create something similar for libflame and BLIS.  (BTW, we usually write libflame rather than libFLAME.)

I would vote for "The Big Boss" rather than Dictator or Despot.

Dictator has a perfectly well-understood nice connotation in software:
