Hi

I´m getting severe Max5 crashes using ElectroTap Pro3.
When I load "tap.limi~" and write arguments Max5 crashes and in the
report it says
is JamomaDSP module. Uninstalled Max5, ET3 and re installed
everything. I noticed
is TapTools that create a Framework Jamoma DSP.

Is there a solution?

Thanks

Luis Aly

Hi,

Can you give us more information about your system?  Mac or PC?  What version of the OS, Max, Tap.Tools, etc?

If this is a Mac, can you send the complete crash log?  Thanks.

best,
 Tim

Sorry Tim for missing information

MacBook Pro / MacOSX 10.5.8 / Max (latest) / TapTools 3.0.1

Try the external to fix the sync issue with Jamoma but TapTools builder does not execute.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for the info.  The crash log indicates incompatible versions of Tap.Tools and Jamoma.  The solution is detailed here:

Sorry for the trouble!

Hi Tim

I´ve tried that already. The problem is when I replace the .mxo TapTools max report says:

Hi Luis,

Are you are certain that you are using the final Jamoma 0.5 release from jamoma.org?

best,
 Tim

Hi Tim

No I´m not using Jamoma. But TapTools need Jamoma installed?

I´ve already installed Jamoma once but it gave lots of problems so I gave up.

Thanks

Hi...

All of Jamoma is not required for Tap.Tools, but they do share some files.  Probably when you installed Jamoma at some point it did something with these files and then things have been mismatched somehow and never got straightened out.

I recommend going into the /Library/Frameworks folder and deleting all of the frameworks that have Jamoma, Tap.Tools, or TTBlue in their name.  Then run the the Tap.Tools installer.  Hopefully that will do the trick.  If not feel free to send an email to sup...@electrotap.com and we can try to get it straightened-out from there.

best,
 Tim
