Awesome steadicam vest and arm...works perfect

I was skeptical at first to buy this because there were no reviews and I didn't know if this was legit. The price seems fair for the product. So far its great and quality of the materials is great, except for the clips for the straps on the vest. That is the only thing I dislike about it. The clips are plastic and might break after many months of use. Also, because I'm rather slim, the vest doesn't feel as tight on me and I tried to adjust it as much as possible and its not as secure as I would like it. But it still works great and is VERY comfortable. Lots of padding! Overall, not a bad product for the price and it works with my Wondlan Professional Steadicam Carbon Fiber Camera Stabilizer.

Fantastic! MUST-have for stabilizer work. Epic shots.

I've been operating with my Glidecam 4000 for several years now on professional jobs, with pretty decent results, but after using this vest and stabilizer arm, the results are in a whole other league. It opens up SO many more shot possibilities because it essentially frees up both hands for the finesse work. You can even pull focus manually without sending the camera swiveling out of control (something that's impossible to do with just the glidecam). Furthermore, it does SO much to dampen and diminish vertical translation, even your popeye arm can't come close to this level of stabilization.
I primarily got this to mitigate operational fatigue, as I'm now flying an FS700 on it with cine lenses, and I can't use it for more than an hour before my arm starts cramping.
However, this just elevated the quality of my shots to pro level. You MUST have it. At this price it's a no-brainer. Get it. You'll love it. Excellent build quality.
Only problem is that the straps are
designed for fat people. Tough to get it really snug as it is, but is probably tweakable.
I use this also for "handheld shots", in which the vest holds all of the wait of the camera, and I use both hands to operate the camera. It's very stable, and smoother than traditional handheld, but not quite "steadicam" work, but with a heavy rig, I can hold it ALL day long.
