Great Fun!

I have zero experience with flying R/C toys but this is truly easy and fun. With the exception of zero response from customer service questions I would have rated it 5 stars. The prop guards should be a must for the novice like myself. I went with the Sony action cam because it is less than half the weight of the GoPro. I even made my own light weight mount (which is not offered) for the action cam using rubber bands and an elastic strap. I also made/used a tubular foam as pontoons to get the extra height and stability needed for the camera (not my idea but works great). Had trouble getting my computer to recognize the Phantom (tried everything mentioned in the FAQ section) but nothing worked including the fact that I got no help from the dealer. I finally tried my wife's computer, also uses Window 7, and it worked fine. I bought an extra charger and an off brand battery, I'd stick to the original.

I am giving this a lower rating because i chose to buy from Red rock as it advertised a set of carbon fiber blades came with the package. Instead i got two sets of stock blades.

2 Bad props with my order

Every thing was good with my phantom purchase except for 2 of the props that came with the Quadcopter did not work as the threads where not completed. A manufacturing fault, I tried to get 2 more props as replacement but some how that did not work out. I don't know if it was my communication with Amazon or what happened but the info did not get passed on.
