Favorites? Favorite kind or brand? How about if you could buy a new
kit today, what would it be?

My favorite from Allied, and my first somewhat complex kit, would have to be the Knight Kit Star Roamer. My favorite kit of all time is the Dyna Mk III power amplifier. I've built many, many kits, from a couple of Heathkit AR15s I built for friends in college in the '60s, this after they glanced at the instruction manual, to my 500Watt per channel Haffler power amp, many Dyna- and Haffler preamps, etc. My latest kit, and the first in a very long time, is a Ramsey RM100B semi-pro, low-power FM transmitter (highly recommended).

The Star Roamer, it was magic in my life, my first kit when I was 12 years young. Incredibly one just sold on Ebay "UNBUILT " for about $500. What a joy to see it...What wonderful memories.
