I started playing with SignalK the other day and was unable to find any plugins for the electrodacus BMS in its app store, so I quickly whipped one together (with ample assistance from AI)

Its my first SignalK plugin, and in its first version so be aware of the possibility for bugs, but if you use SignalK and have an Electrodacus BMS (with wifi shield) you can now get its data on your network for monitoring and automations.

If you find any bugs, create an Issue on github and I'll see what I can do

Hope this helps someone

This has my attention!

I have a 'Dacus, and all of my solar pass through a Hall Effect ammeter for large-digit display of solar charging (the 'Dacus only shows total charge, and I have several sources).  These two displays, coupled with Victron Connect on my cell, make a Cerbo a very expensive and mostly redundant piece of gear.

On my boat, I have just put together a Windows based boat PC that will hopefully be running 24x7 (but the display will be much less continuous).  It has occurred to me that SignalK could, in theory, pull all the Victron data and the 'Dacus data and build a nice one-stop-shop for data, displayed MY WAY!  Apparently, the tools to bring Victron Bluetooth into SignalK are robust, and your plugin solves that part.  I could see:
*  Do the math to determine alternator output (total charge amps from the 'Dacus minus sum of all solar amps)
*  Alarms for user defined issues -- start battery voltage, or SOC, or discharge amps, or "time until"
*  A "cerbo-like" display showing what I want.
*  The "cerbo-like" could have some sort of indication of the various triggers from the 'Dacus (ULK, etc).
*  Of course, all at my Nav station instead of back in my aft cabin.

Might be the use-case that brings SignalK to my boat!  I do realize that once it is up and running, lot's of less useful (but still nice) capability will creep in -- but those aren't enough to be the instigator.

I may just have to start learning how to install SignalK and build displays for it!

Yea, all of this should be fairly straightforward with SignalK and this plugin. Also feeding the data into your Nmea 2000 network to see SOC on chart plotter/multi displays.

Let me know how it turns out if you decide to give it a go!
