Ver 3 I was playing with the settings trying to connect to my network, anyways long story short, can someone please point me to the correct procedure of flashing the esp firmware. I’m fine in Arduino ide and circuit python, but those are like toys not connected too 120A cells. I found https://github.com/armageddon421 link that seems legit. Anything I need to know, extra for this version? And when it’s done I’ll not be trying that again. I like the host format WiFi just fine. Rarely use it.
Ps my symptoms for error are, I see the dacuslink WiFi but cannot connect, tried all os I have iOS, rasban pi and Win 10. It’s not a big deal but it’s kinda taunting me @2.4G. Also do you have any of the multi color ribbon cable 12p for sale? The thicker stuff like on 40. Just cosmetic, the rainbow ribbon would top mine off perfectly

Chris,

You sure not need to flash any firmware as your came with the latest one. Maybe you do not know the password is electrodacus
Have you read this post https://electrodacus.com/solarforum.html?place=msg%2Felectrodacus%2FlHUxWlhgRa4%2Fl9v6tUBNBAAJ
I hope to have a user manual in a few weeks for the new SBMS0.
The SBMS40 used color ribbon cable as it only had a 10pin connector but after 10 the colors will start to repeat and that will create a lot of confusion thus I changed to grey + one red ribbon on the SBMS0 that needs 12 wires.

Chris,

Go to SBMS0 WiFi menu turn the WiFi ON/OFF to 0 push OK to enable then push OK again and set to 1 and push ON to enable this will reset the WiFi module and allow the WiFi to connect to your access point assuming you set the SSID and password correctly. Now you need to find out what IP has your router associated to the SBMS0 and then connect to your router (if you are not already connected and use that IP in the browser to access the SBMS0).
