I'm no longer able to ship to USA as of today.

I was just about to print a shipping label using Canada Post website and after filling all the details I was directed to download Zonos, an app only available on Android and iOS where I supposedly could provide the details of what I ship (even take a photo of the product was mentioned) pay multiple fees including taxes and then get some ID that I can use on the Canada Post website to finalize the shipping label.

I never use my Android phone for anything other than phone calls and as hot spot for my Linux computer and I'm not willing to make any payments with either paypal or credit cart trough a phone app.

So unfortunately for the moment unless things change I will no longer be able to ship anything to the US.

Most unfortunate.  It is exactly the outcome that half of the US population wanted, so good for them.  Unfortunately, it is NOT the outcome that the other half of us wanted.  Worse, the half that wanted this outcome are the half that think global warming is a hoax, solar is a scam and want to see more oil and coal burned.

I hope a solution presents itself as you have a wonderful product.  I bought my SBMS0, batteries, and all the gear in November of last year in anticipation of this (and other related) outcomes.

Maybe it is just a temporary issue and things will change.  Will see how things evolve in the next few weeks.

I read a bit more and even if I decided to install the Zonos app (a private company) it will have been 3.99CAD + 10% (not sure 100% of what the value of the product or the value of the taxes) and 35% of the product value in tax.

There are taxes in other parts of the world in Europe depending on the country is between 17% and 27% VAT but that is paid by the importer directly. I expected a similar thing for the US 35% tax but that does not seem to be the case at least as of now. Shopify  (I use paypal and print shipping labels directly from Canada Post) seems to already have a way to show this US taxes to the buyer at checkout and then have them pay this. But including what Zonos already charges it will be over 40% of the product value and not sure is anyone will want to pay that.
