Cell balancing cable wiring option

I'd like to avoid dealing with mounting the delicate ribbon cable to the battery pack and also mount the SBMS0 further than supplied cable allow. I've chosen a 1m IDC12 cable and will then run about 2m of 22AWG with crimped ring connectors. I can then just jump 1+2 and 10+11+12 at the block. Any issues with this?

You need to have individual wires the only two that you can combine are 12 and 11 all other need to be individual up to the battery terminal.

Like pin 1 is to power the SBMS internal electronics and pin 2 is to measure the cell 1 negative terminal if you combine this then the voltage drop across the wire will produce errors in measurement and you do not want that. Same with pin 10 that is sense wire and pin 11, 12 that are for self power.

So you can use that 1m cable and the adapter but run individual wires as mentioned above.
