Insect Proof Your Batteries!

Had to interrupt a small upgrade job in my outdoor Battery Shed due to a week of un-seasonal rain. 

The rain lasted about a week.

Opened the shed to find a million ants had decided to migrate to a dry spot!!!

Took me hours of vacuuming , brushing and carefully applying surface spray to clean up!

They had found their way into every nook and cranny!!!

Shed now has been treated with nasty chemicals to deter ants from climbing up the supporting posts...

I'm amazed it didn't cause some kind of electrical problem.

Forewarned is forearmed!!! Bug proof your batteries.

Never seen so many ants in one place. They also seems to have wings.

Glad my batteries are inside the house. It is also rainy here, for the past few days.
