Subject: SBMS0 v03d vs v03e

Hi Dacian,

My installed SBMS0 is hardware version v03e, while the manual I have is for v03d.

Are there any relevant hardware or functional differences between v03d and v03e, or can I use the v03d manual for my v03e unit without restrictions?

The change is insignificant mostly a new batch of PCB's with main change of a PCB trace fuse replaced with a PTC SMD reset-able fuse so that when people make the mistake of connecting all 12 cell sense wires with reverse polarity there is no permanent damage as it was with the PCB trace fuse burning and instead the reset-able fuse will reset after polarity is corrected. A jumper wire was needed to v03e and a lower voltage drop diode to compensate for the increase resistance of the reset-able fuse.

Both the software and manual are exactly the same as there is no difference in functionality. The difference is only between the v02x and v03x.
