Hi

I'm wondering if anybody has managed to obtain local govt. regulatory approval to install an Electrodacus based system.  Due to a couple of screw ups and timing issues, I've come under the scrutiny of the local electrical regulator.

Specifically they are requiring a Master Electrician stamp the SLD (single line diagram) to certify that it meets the 26th Edition Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1 (2024).  I believe an electrical engineer stamp would also suffice.

Does anybody know of someone who could provide such certification?

Hi Ken
Such requirement exists also in France. However if you never reinject any current into consumers connected to the city power, not any declaration is tolerated.
That is the reason why I splitted my electric distribution in two: users of big current (forte puissance) and users of small current.
The low power consumers are supplied either by the  inverter or by the city power thanks to an ATS (automatic transfert switch).
Attached is my single line diagram that I did prepare, but never submit (sorry, but in french!);

Regards
Philippe

Thanks.   Whether its valid or not the county is being obstinate.

Alternately is there a master electrician familiar with the electrical code that I could consult to navigate this.
