I have considered changing my 12v system to 24v when I purchase more 280ah cells. I know I will have to use a 24v to 12v converter for my small 12v loads. My main concern is the solar panels. I have four 100w panels on my 12v system. Could I put two 12v panels in series the parallel the two sets to charge a 24v system?

Yes you can connect groups of two 100W panels in series to charge a 24V battery.
