hello all,

let me know please which option we should choose for spice running in preferences in electric. Run and ignored output what does it mean?

I used the setup @ CMOSEDU:

To setup Electric with LTSpice. Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

If under Windows, refer to the HSPICE and LTspice examples in step 14 at:


If under wine, refer to:


Run and ignored output what does it mean?

See section "9-4-3: Spice" in the Electric manual:


As the manual says, it should run the spice program or script specified in the "Run program" box with the other options specified in the "Running spice" block and should let you know when it has finished running after writing the spice deck, but it does NOT open a dialog box when it is done with the output.
