After nearly ten years, I am pleased to announce version 9.08 of the Electric VLSI Design System.

This includes a Josephson Junction technology, new Inductance tools, a smoother Macintosh interface, and many smaller fixes.

Visit us at www.staticfreesoft.com for downloads and documentation.

As always, the source code is free.

Happy designing!

With new features and new tech-s support the new era begins!

I tried previous incarnation of inductance tools, they where quite usable already.
Looking forward to see the new ones!
I would like to discuss introduction of similar "resistive tools" due to be able to declare an orbital shapes of poly + resistor recogn layer to be
to be a snake-like resistors. (I avoid the term serpent as it means some obsolete technology of drawing shapes in Electric, as Latina word used for it;) )

Looking forward to become able to use Electric in my real ASIC projects

Alex
