could be made better just sad

ok I got the Husqvarna 1650exl shipping was fast price was the best I could fine, but the way this is built is sad payed $2000 for it and the inside auger mounts are made out of plastic what a BIG disappointment and the lower part of the shoot is all so made out of plastic top part is all steel. just seem like they could of spent a few extra bucks!! and make it a great snow blower. JUST SAD!!!!!

Good Performance, Really throws the snow far.

I wanted a hydro drive machine with steering and this was the best value I could find, and I got it on sale for just under $1700 with free shipping. Compared to similar non-hydro drive Husqvarna models availible in the home centers at $1299 + tax, this was a no brainer for me.
The hydro trans is a real nice upgrade from the big disk with friction wheel, spokets, chains and all that nonsense for that design. The trans in this is solid and the tires are much larger than whats on my old 9hp Canadiana so that adds to the overall power. I am very satisfied with the performance, it really throws the snow far and can push through heavy snow at a good speed.
The steering makes it easier to operate and the heated hand grips are a very nice feature too. The handle bars do seem to be a bit flimsy but the idea is not to have to muscle it too much as it has the steering and hydro drive.
There is a 1/2 inch steel reinforcement bar acrross the top of the shovel as well as the weight bar thats bolted to the top, nice features. The wieght bar keeps the shovel down, my old machine would often torque upwards under a good load.
The skids are made of steel too, I noticed on similar lower modes they are plastic.
So overall very pleased with my new machine.

after buying middle of the line snowblowers most of my life finally spent the money for a heavier duty unit, it was well worth it. This machine throws snow like no other I have ever owned and I bought it just in time to use on the worst blizzard we ever had (4 ft of snow overnight), that shut down our state for days. I bought this on amazon and couldn't find a better price anywhere all with free 2 day shipping.
