I setup the skeleton website running at http://electionspot.futurelabs.in.

Don't worry about the look and feel now, it will be improved eventually.

Beginnings.

The map component should be up today as well.
Then we can look at beautification and integration.

How about adding an interface, where people can up vote or down vote a person by giving reasons ?

If that happens then the users of the website can also see the public opinion :)
