Assuming that firing Jim Comey, the FBI Director, does not erode Donald Trump's loyal base, soon he could no longer have the lowest approval rating during each day of his presidency when compared to other modern (post WWII) presidents.

On May 15, 2017 or day 116 of the Trump presidency, has an approval rating of 40.5%.
On day 123, Gerald Ford had an approval rating of 39.9%, so Trump's may be higher on May 22, 2017.
On day 131, Bill Clinton had an approval rating of 36.8%, so Trump's will probably be higher on May 30, 2017.

Of course, Trump and his supporters will claim that his popularity is comparable to other presidents, while everyone else notes how unpopular he actually is and has been.

Trump is likely to have the highest disapproval during each day of his first year (if not impeached by a Republican House and removed by a Republican Senate) and may have the highest disapproval during each day of his first term (if not impeached by a Democratic House and removed by a Democratic Senate).

The firing of Jim Comey, the FBI Director, and other recent events seem to have eroded Donald Trump's approval rating among moderates but his loyal base is holding.

Error Correction:
On day 6 and perhaps the whole first week, Trump had a higher approval rating than George W. Bush after the Supreme Court decision that resolved the Florida Recount dispute surrounding the 2000 presidential election.

Thus, he could no longer have the lowest approval rating during each day of his presidency (following the first week) when compared to other modern (post WWII) presidents.
On May 22, 2017 or day 123 of the Trump presidency, has an approval rating of 38.8%.
Thus, Gerald Ford had a higher approval rating of 39.9%, but Trump's will likely be higher at some point during the next 35 days and will probably be higher than Ford's 34.8% on June 26, 2017.

Trump Achieved "Not Lowest Approval Rating"

Even though, Trump's loyal base is not holding well with a drop in strong approval ratings.
On May 31, 2017 or day 132 of the Trump presidency, he has an approval rating of 39.1%.
On day 130, Bill Clinton had an approval rating of 36.8%, so Trump's was higher at 39.4% on May 29, 2017.

Now, Trump's popularity is comparable to another president.
Bill Clinton began his presidency with a fairly low approval rating after a competitive 3-way race with incumbent George H.W. Bush and Ross Perot.

In late May of 1993, Clinton had the Travelgate (fired seven employees of the White House Travel Office) and Hairgate ($200 Haircut at LAX) controversies, which seem like child's play compared Comeygate (fired FBI Director leading Russia investigation), frequent wasteful trips to Mar-a-Lago, and many more flagrant abuses of power.

During the campaign, Trump approval ranged from 36 to 44%;
during his presidency so far, it has ranged from 35 to 45%.
These figures were claimed the other day by
some NBC news talking head, who concluded from it that
Trump has a core group of supporters, approximately 40%
of the population, who presumably will keep supporting him
regardless of what happens.
The talking head nevertheless claimed that all of these
ratings were (historically speaking) very low among those
who won presidencies. My personal view of Trump's presidency
so far is dim...

Trump returns to "Lowest Approval Rating"
On day 140, Bill Clinton had an approval rating of 40.1%, so Trump's was lower at 38.2% on June 8, 2017.

If Trump's approval rating stays fairly steady, then his may be higher than Clinton's at 39.8% and likely be higher than Ford's at 34.8% on day 158, June 26, 2017.

If Comey's testimony sinks Trump's approval rating, then his may never be higher than Clinton's again and may be higher than Ford's at some point.
