EBJ as a ballot option

I had a thought. What if instead of trying to just replace elections off the bat, we could make EBJ a ballot option. Right now, people often leave columns blank, vote randomly, or write in a name to signal a protest vote or simply a lack of interest or knowledge. What if we could convince a municipal government to add an EBJ option, which could serve to aggregate the protest/low knowledge vote in low saliency races? If EBJ wins the plurality of the vote, a jury is convened to choose a candidate for the office.

That's a great idea. I think it should at least be an option. At this point, we just need a municipality to bite on anything EBJ-related.

I like the idea! It will let people cast their vote if they really care, and "delegate" their vote for the elections they know little about.
