Just came across this video featuring "Man was going to speak against gender-affirming care in the Wisconsin state legislature, publicly changes stance after listening to 7 hours of testimony"

Regardless of your opinion on gender-affirming care, it's awesome that:
  1. someone came in with poorly informed preconceived opinions
  2. spent hours listening to people they wouldn't normally have listened to
  3. learnt to appreciate the opposing viewpoints, and changed their opinion to some extent
If you went back 50 years, when both liberals and conservatives watched the same news channels, the above would have been the norm. But in today's world where everyone self-selects into partisan media sources, and algorithmic social media bubbles, it is so rare. One of the reasons why I think EBJ has so much potential.
