CREATIVE SUMMER INTERNSHIP AT PHYZOK

Phyzok Learning Solutions LLP is offering summer internships for the brightest and most brilliant minds from the best colleges in India, to work in the area of educational content research, development and production. The requirement is for candidates who can ideate, design and produce intriguing content. People with sound theoretical knowledge as well as flair for on-camera and off-camera  work and who can learn and improvise on the job would be ideal for the assignment.

Candidates must be available for 45 days, beginning last week of May. They must be highly motivated, have a proven interest in the creative arts and willing to think out of the box. A keen sense of humor and wit would be an added, though not necessary, quality. They should aspire to be the next gen transformational leaders. These being exciting times for education, there is potential for candidates to groom to be the next Sir Ken Robinson, Prof. Krishna Kumar or Prof. Yashpal; and to shape the education landscape of the country. The job entails an inter-disciplinary approach to learning and designing learning for the 21st century learner. Areas of content generation would include sciences, social sciences and liberal arts.

Phyzok Learning Solutions LLP has been incubated under TBI at BITS Pilani. The company specializes in creating technology that enables classroom concepts to become alive. Phyzok offers tangible patented kits and web based virtual environment where students can unveil the concepts by themselves thus encouraging independent learning. Phyzok has worked with more than 30 schools and Phyzok's technology has impacted more than a lac students so far. Businessworld has listed Phyzok as one of the top 10 young start-ups in India for the year 2011. Phyzok received the Star Entrepreneurship Award for the year 2012 at the 5th Indira International Innovation Summit. Phyzok received its initial funding of 1 Million from BITS 75 Charitable Trust. The Mentor circle for Phyzok has alumni from Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan, Kellog's and NUS. Last year, Phyzok received the BITSAA Global 30 Under 30 Award. Phyzok has created a hi-tech green screen studio in Santacruz, Mumbai, which is the internship location for this year.

Details of the internship:

Location : Santacruz, Mumbai.

Duration: 45 days (beginning 27th May 2013)

Stipend & perks: Rs. 10,000/- for the internship period, plus weekly passes to creative getaways (The Comedy Store, Filmcity, Prithvi Theatre, NCPA, Pubs, Outdoor shoots etc). A Prospective PPO.

Skills required: Creative thinking, Instructional design, Research, Analysis, Extrapolation, Story telling, clear understanding in one or more of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry Biology, Mathematics, History, Economics, Geography, Political Science.

2. Shortlisted students will be called for a technical interview.
3. Qualifying students will then undergo video auditions for final selection of interns for this summer.
