Captivate 4 and ActionScript 2

Hi Everyone.....my first post!

Can anyone supply me with a working example of system variables set
within a Captivate 4 swf communicating with a Flash swf?

I have several Captivate swf that are going to be loaded into my AS2
flash player and need information like 'this slide has finished' and
'a question was answered incorrectly' etc.

I know the theory but just cant seem to get it working so an example i
could refer to would really help.
