Hi!

Today I use Philip Hutchinson SCORM template for AS3.

Unfortunately I have some window focus issue with the LMS browser
window and the course window. This problem occur when the course is
reporting to the LMS via SCORM.

To avoid this issue (please see other thread called SCORM reporting) I
found a command called LMS finish...
I have not used this command at all... Do you think that could help?

Sorry for bringing this up again... but it feels kind of wrong with
external interface calls and trying to get the timing right for
these...

Thanks in advance...

Kind regards
Robert Eriksson

Hello Robert,

I don’t think Finish (2004) or LMSTerminate (1.2) is the issue.  The Finish/LMSTerminate methods of the SCORM API stops communications between the content and LMS.  Some LMSs even close the content browser instance if Finish/LMSTerminate is imposed.

If you're having focus issues, I'd try using window.onblur = window.focus(); in your content page. A cheesy hack but it works.  If you're playing to Internet Explorer there is a bug if a DOCTYPE is assigned the onblur won't trigger (see http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=146676).

Just to clarify: 1.2 has "LMSFinish" and 2004 has the "Terminate" call. Don' t want other to be confused
