We have courses we developed in Captivate that are 1024 X 768. We
currently
launch them full screen (no status bar, no title bar, no address bar).
When we
upload these courses into SumTotal we get scroll bars because the
window is
smaller. Even if I disable the SumTotal controls I still have the
Internet
Explorer title bar and status bar.

Is there any way to open these in true full screen mode or will I have
to resize
all these courses?

Have a great day!

Hi James,

Do not go with the 1024x768 for Captivate courses. If you are loading captivate published HTML, this resolution will not be recommended. When you publish, the published HTML will take extra width and height by default.

Try to find any options in LMS settings in SumTotal, like "open as a link" and specify maximum width and height as 100%

Other possible option is add your LMS as a trusted site in IE

Thanks,
Ram

For most browsers, the title and status bars can't be disabled in popup windows for security reasons.  As for the scrollbars, the HTML and CSS generated by Captivate contain some extra gunk that prevents the SWF from being able to stretch to the window's edges without a scrollbar appearing. You can disable scrollbars via CSS or recode the HTML to be cleaner.
