hi,im from malaysia,when i try to find an official account with their id,it comes out no results,may i know what happen to my wechat account?there is no problem with their id but i cant find them in my wechat
Yes, we had that show up too. The reason is that we tried to link that number with another WeChat account. As soon as we did that, WeChat locked the original account. That was about a week or more ago. Today we found that we could unlink the number and then link it again. It worked perfectly. Good luck.
i could not link my email with my wechat.. i have already set my wechat id and link it with my phone no.. but when i try to link it with my email it failed and state that unable to send the verification email.

You can either go to Facebook and change your settings in the Apps area or go in WeChat go to Settings then General then Features and disable the linked Facebook feature. Good luck. Let us know if you need more help. Thanks for commenting.
I have forgot first we chad id and password and my facebook id has linked with first we chad id now i have generated a second we chad id and link facebook but give error that your facebook id has already linked we chat id. so how to do.
Delete/block all of your contacts, delete the app and stop using it. Alternatively, screen cap your contact list, then delete everyone and open a new account then add the contacts you would like to keep. If you want to delete your account for privacy purposes, why do you want to link it to your email address. Let us know. Thanks for commenting.
Which phone number did you use to register WeChat? Is that number still yours? You can only have one phone number per WeChat account. If you used another number to register, you cannot use a new number to change your password. You can change your phone number, yes, but you have to be logged into your account. See what we mean? Have you linked your WeChat to an email address? QQ? There are several ways to recover your password but it looks like your phone number has changed so try something else. You can only be logged in to one account on one device at a time. If you open WeChat on a 2nd device, it will log out on the first one automatically. If you log in on the first one, it will log out on the second one. Thanks for commenting.
