Hello friends and family!

Happy late halloween! I hope you all enjoyed it, and had a good time. We for halloween were going to go to a stake party with investigadors, but we unfortunately had a doctor{s appointment. Oh well!

So this week, Elder Zea, who had the operation, had a transfer and is going to be finishing training a different Elder. I am so glad he was with us for a time, and I learned so very very much from him. He is a fantastic missionary, and really taught me that I need to be aware of the other missionaries, and be aware of their needs so I can help them.

We also had a couple miracles this week. One my companion had yesterday when we were doing divisions- he was talking with a member and his friend, and the friend said " I want to be baptized. I assisted today in a chapel, but I learned that really I live in this ward, so I{m going to be baptized here. I just want you guys to teach me a little more." Whoo hoo! He{s going to be baptized the 15th of November.

Another miracle- this week we had 8 investigadors in the sacrament meeting, and 2 less active member come to church! Whoo-hoo! I{m not entirely sure what the differenfce is now and before- I think it might be because we are really striving to work with the members (especially less active members) and emphasizing the testimony of the Book of Mormon.

Another miracle- this week, a less active member really trusted us and let us into her house. She hasn{t trusted anyone with what really is hapening- not visiting teachers, not the missionaries, not even the Bishop. But she trusted in us, and says like she feels like she needs to come back, but that she needs to have help. I don{t think I{ve ever experienced the gift of discernment so strongly- I intricately understood her, her doubts, her fear. We were able to help her, and commit her to do the things that she needs to reconnect with God- to not only know in her mind, but know in her heart.

I am continually impressed with the young men of this ward. They are so incredibly united, fellowship so easily, and are super willing to do the work. There are times that they ask us "When can we go with you?" We have divisions planned for Tuesday and Wednesday, and we{re going to see if we can do it Friday and Saturday as well. It{ll help them, and it{ll help our investigadores and less active members (especially young men) to feel united and part of the ward.

The family that came to church last week came again this week. They said that they believe that this is the correct path, and the father said that he believes that he will come to know with certainty that it is the correct path. They{re just not sure about being married. We}re going to talk about that today- the importance of living the law of chastity and the blessings that come from living the law of chastity.

I love you all so much, and I{m grateful for your prayers for me.

Elder Stay
