Hello friends and family!

So first, really exciting news! First, I·, an investigador that we had a few weeks ago is going to be baptized! She went to Lima with the plans of being baptized, but she didn´t end up getting baptized over there because she was living in the same house as her ex-boyfriend. They were keeping the law of chastity, but they were living in the same house. So on Tuesday we talked with her, and she says that she still really wants to be baptized. She called us on Thursday, and we came over and she said that she´s planning on staying here in Lima, and so she wants to get baptized today. How amazing is that! She´s been reading the Book of Mormon almost every day, and right now she´s finishing up Jacob. She´s asked us about Patriartical blessings, about exactly how the Priesthood was restored, and really wants to help both her teenage daughters come to Christ as well. She´s incredible, and she´s going to be a great blessing to the ward and to the Kingdom of God.

And I love the mission President. President Zobrist is very kind, very selfless, and reminds me quite a lot of my Dad. It ends up that every year, their whole family gets together to tell stories and talk, they love to snow ski and water ski, and they love each other so much. Does it sound familiar to anyone? :) I´m going to be sad that I won´t be able to go to Twin Lakes this year, but I know that everyone there will have a good time there.

We`ve also had a very busy week. Monday and Tuesday, we had a conference with the Leaders of the mission (Zone Leaders and Sister Leaders), where we had to arrange for food, sleeping, talks and testimonies that needed to be given. And then that night, President Zobrist had his first changes as a mission president for the new missionaries that came Wednesday. Then we helped trained the new missionaries Wednesday, then helped them get to their new areas. Thursday, President and Sister Zobrist had 2 Welcoming Conferences, each one with 5 Zones of about 15 missionaries each. Then that afternoon, they drove about 6 hours to Tacna, slept there, then had another Welcoming Conference in Tacna with the 3 Zones there and the ones from Ilo and Mollendo. Then he interviewed several investigadores so they could be baptized, and then interviewed a whole Zone as well, and drove home that night. Phew! Needless to say, they´re pretty busy. But they´re doing really good. I love them so much, and I´m glad that I´m in a position to help them.

I love you so much, and I´m glad I can be a part of this work!
