That´s great about Tucker and Lauren! They´ll make great missionaries.
They both have such strong testimonies, and want to do what´s right so
much.

I can testify to the effect that going inactive can have on a family.
We have a ton of inactive members in our area, and you can really tell
the difference, even when you just walk in the house. There is a
brightness and a joy that is in an active family´s home that is
missing when you have a less active family.

Ge was baptized this week! Whoo hoo! I´ll try and send pictures of her
baptism next week, because my camera was out of batteries. She is
close friends with many of the young women, and I can see her
testimony growing little by little. It´s great. We had to make some
last minute changes due to scheduling conflicts, but it all went well
with the help of the Lord- even if I had to try to baptize her 6 or 7
times because we hadn´t practiced.

We actually haven´t been able met with Ga (the sober child with the
Book of Mormon) and his family this week, which makes me a little sad,
but we have plans to meet with him this week.

We have an investigator R, who I´m excited about. I believe that she
might be baptized next week. When we started teaching her, she was
looking for God- she wasn´t sure if He existed, and wasn´t sure if He
loved her. Now she´s coming closer to him, and is wanting to do family
history work so that her family can be with God. I can bear testimony
of the power of prayer. It helps change hearts, and it helps us to
remember that we are Children of God.
