Hello Friends and Family!

This week was fantastic for me and my companion. Monday, for some odd reason, I was in a Little bit of a bad mood, and so me and my companion decided to make Andes Mint Cookies! They turned out really nice, and we gave some to our pension, to our bishop for his Family Home Evening, for the Zone, and for a lot of people. They were delicious, and everyone was really happy to receive them- even though I forgot about how sweet and rich they are!

Sunday, we had 10 investigadors in the sacrament meeting, and 160 assistence in sacrament meeting (which is usually 140). We are really really happy with that, and we are working hard to help keep that number rising, and help people to feel the góspel and feel committed to the góspel. Me and Elder Loor both gave talks (the talk of Elder Loor was amazing), and we sang "Abide with me Tis Eventide" (Elder Loor also has an incredible incredible voice, which sounds really nice when I{m singing the harmony.)

We are also very excited because the famiyl that is getting married, the Dad is gone today to get his birth certificate (finally!!!!!) which means that probably they{ll be married and baptized in 2 weeks. The sad part is that very possibly, me or my companion leaves this next Sunday. We hope that we{ll be able to return, but it{s not always possible. This week, there{s about 4 people that are on the point of being baptized- they just need a Little more, a Little push to be able to open the door and start on the path to the Kingdom of God. Please pray for them.

This week, me and my companion started working a luittle more intelligently- looking at our goal of baptisms that we{ve felt inspired to put as a companionship, and from there, setting the subgoals of how many lessons we need to teach, how many people need to come to church, how many people need to commit to be baptized, etc. Looking at that, and plannign that really well, has helped us a lot, and I[m exctied for what{s going to happen this next week.

And a Little tidbit from my talk-

Can you imagine Jesús Christ, the son of God, on the precipe of the Atonement, the hours before his suffering in the Garden of Gethsemani? He knew that he was going to go through the most excruciating pain that the world has ever known, and he knew that he was going to suffer. What did he do to prepare for this trial of all trials?

He held the first sacrament meeting. He shared with his apostles bread and wine in memory of his body and blood, in memory of the sacrifice that he was about to do. He gave one of the greatest talks that has ever been given on love, friendship, sacrifice and conversión. They sang hymns, and ended with the Intercessory Prayer of Christ for his disciples.

If Christ, to give himself and his disciples strength, chose to bring to pass the sacrament meeting, how much more necessary is it for us, in our problems and trials relatively small, need that same power that brings the sacrament meeting?

Elder Oaks- The Sacrament Meeting is the most important and most sacred of our Church meetings.

I want to bear my testimony that the Sacrament and the Sacrament meeting can bring strength to our souls, help us to become unspotted from the world, and help arm us with the power of God to face our problems.

I love you all. Keep Reading, keep praying, keep coming to church, and put your soul into it, and you will see the hand of God in your life, and feel like it is the correct thing to be doing.
