Hello friends and Family!

Thank you all, first of all, for your prayers for me. I can really feel it, and am very thankful for it. 

This week, Elder C. Scott Grow, from the Presidencia del Area, and part of the first Quorum of the Seventy, came to the mission. He is incredible, and there{s going to be quite a few changes in the mission during this time. First he talked with all of the Ward Counsels (which we are now very actively part of). He talked about the need to talk about Investigadors, Returning Memebers, and Recent Converts, and that EVERYONE (members and missionaries) can be part of this Work of Salvation. He talked about how essential it is to help people return to the church, and how the missionaries can{t do it by themselves. It{s going to help a lot in the wards.

Then he talked with us. First, a little cool experience. When i was in the office, I knew the missionary that always made the programs. He often thought a lot about who should lead, who should pray, what songs should be sung, but often times it hasn{t shown a lot of difference in the end. But when Elder Grow talked with us, we started with singing Praise to the Man. Elder Grow got up, and said that he wasn{t planning on talking about Joseph Smith, but that during that song, he felt the need to talk about it with us. He then shared his testimony with us of Joseph Smith, and talked about why that testimony and the testimony of the Book of Mormon is so very important. It was very spiritual, and helped me a lot. But the story is that I love how the Lord works- prompting that missionary to choose that song, to prompt Elder Grow to talk about a topic that we needed to here. It is through the "small and simple means" that salvation is brought to the sons of men. 

He also talked about the importance of setting Goals with the Spirit (something that we weren{t doing as a Mission), working efficiently, the importance of families, the importance of rescuing. The Presidencia del Area has a lot of trust in us in the work of helping people return to Church, and they really expect a lot of us- somthing that I{ve felt that the Lord feels for me personally as well. 

I love this work, and I{m really excited to work here in his work. This week was transfers, and I{m going to be here for 6 weeks more. Whoo-hoo! I{m very happy for that. There{s still people ehre that need to be baptized! I{ll tell you more about them next week.
