So I´m going to be really really old this week- I´m going to be a whole 21 years old! That´s almost ancient! Well, not really, but it feels like it! Oh well. Thanks to those of you who have wished me a happy birthday! To those of you who haven´t, I´m sure you´ll do it this week. (wink wink, nudge nudge)
This week has gone quite well! Something that me and my companion have started to do that has resulted really well: Every day, when we do our planning at the end of the day, we talk about one time in that day that we felt like we felt a prompting to the Spirit, and then we followed it. It´s been very interesting to see how it changes our perspective on a day, and it´s making us a lot more aware and sensitive to the Spirit.
For example, yesterday, we go and visit a member who´s returning back to church. We were looking for her husband, but he wasn´t there. So we were about to go, when I felt, not very strongly, but I did feel it, that we should ask her, if we would like to talk with us. We invited her, and she said that she would. We enter in, and we start talking to her, and she starts opening up, and tells us that her life is starting to fall apart. We were able to help her a little, to give her a priesthood blessing, and able to listen and comfort her some. I know that that´s where we needed to be and needed to do in that moment, and I know that she needs the Lord´s help in this time, and as a part of that, he sent us to go see her.
We´ve been working hard, my companion and I, and we´ve seen some miracles. We´re talking to about 6 people who have, this week, decided to be baptized, and who are just not sure when. We hope that we´ll be able to help them progress, to help them have the change of heart that´ll help them to do the right.
I love you all!
