to Elcano, Jim Kindsvater, Brandyn Lacourse, Josh Larios
I have repackaged Elcano into a sequence of 12 steps. Each step has code and relevant documentation. The code will be just what is needed for the task, and will not be our latest and greatest. All this will be on the ElcanoProject web page, not the code repository.
Attached is the table of contents. Labs 1 and 2 are complete, though the documentation can be enhanced. Lab 3 is in process. I mounted the second cyclometer yesterday and wrote documentation. I have adapted code that one of my students wrote. What remains is calibration and testing.
Lab 4 will be our first autonomous run, and is not a big step. When we complete Lab 5, we will be in the state that KOMO TV is wanting.
I have pushed GPS and the Kalman filter back to Labs 7 and 8.
I want to provide timely progress updates on Facebook and our web page.
