Bom dia!

Eu estou usando.

Elastix 3.0
=========

  • Elastix 3.0 is a Multi-tenant version of Elastix. It is not just simply the latest progression in version of Elastix.
  • Generally it is not meant as a on-premise version of Elastix, but more suited to a hosted PBX system.
  • Elastix 3.0 has some major structural changes which includes the use of Centos 6, No FreePBX, Kamailio as the front end to allow large numbers of SIP registrations, but it does utilise Asterisk.
  • The use of Asterisk and the fax engine are some of the few common areas that it shares with Elastix 2.x
  • At this present time, it contains a base set of functionality that the Elastix 2.x has in terms of PBX Configuration. It will grow, and continue to be added to.
  • One thing to be very clear on, just because a phone connected to your Elastix 2.x system, doesn't mean the same settings will work on Elastix 3.0. It requires a good understanding of Network Address Translation (NAT), and this does not mean knowing how to port forward or turn off SIP ALG on your router. It really needs you to think through your setup, it may require you to understand more deeply how your router handles NAT, how your phones NAT configuration works, particularly for remote phones. This is absolutely necessary, particularly if you are going to run a hosted Elastix system.

Elastix 2.5
=========

  • Elastix 2.5 is a single tenant version of Elastix and is a natural progression along the line of Elastix 2.x systems
  • Generally it is meant as a on-premise version of Elastix.
  • Elastix 2.5 has a similar structure to previous 2.x versions but with a major upgrade to the FreePBX system bring it up to FreePBX 2.11 version. This has been the most common request over the last year or so, and this has been done.
  • As you would expect, all the previous functionality that you have been used to in previous versions is there and quite a bit more in terms of functionality.
  • Again there have been some changes to NAT (or at least default settings), and it may be important to confirm your phone settings.
