Need help with custom Elasticsearch plugin that can manipulate idex and update database

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie to elasticsearch. I need to implement an elasticsearch-plugin which does following:

1. create an index and update it's entry in database

2. drop an index and remove it's entry from database

Also I need to implement a simple gui interface to access above functionalities. 

I need to get this running ASAP. What's the quickest way to implement it ? 

At wok people suggested to run commands/scripts directly. But I have no idea how to do  this either.

Hi,
   why not using for this the fresh new logstash jdbc input plugin? It will do all you need out of the box.
